Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is the Mexican American sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and is an SportsCenter News Anchor. She was hired by ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been so since the age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Following this she was hired by her CBS affiliate of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at one of the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. In addition to reporting on issues related to the issue of immigration and drug trafficking from both sides of the border, she worked as a reporter for the 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor and reporter for news at 9 p.m. news in English, and a reporter again for at 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. She also filled in for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallas' affiliate, where she is more responsible. Antonietta's parents were originally native to Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. She also has an older sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico for the US and eventually settled in Miami. She divorced her parents within a short time and in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins had taken a position with her older sister. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University to determine whether the university was suitable for her. In the end, she was a fan of the university and that they had the kind of program she was searching for. She finished school and went to the university with an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU, of which she's a part. They formed a strong connection. The passion he had for journalism as well as confidence in her own abilities encouraged her. She in turn was determined to achieve his expectations and never disappoint him.
