Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is the Mexican American sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and is an SportsCenter News Anchor. She was hired by ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been so since the age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Following this she was hired by her CBS affiliate of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at one of the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins had taken a position with her older sister. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University to determine whether the university was suitable for her. In the end, she was a fan of the university and that they had the kind of program she was searching for. She finished school and went to the university with an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU, of which she's a part. They formed a strong connection.
