Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN as an SportsCenter anchor for news. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by the time she turned nine. The ability that helped her get her first role as a Univision Production Assistant in Miami. In Miami, she worked with the producers of National shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was then hired as a reporter by the CBS station as the sports reporter. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. She covered stories about illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking in both Texas and Mexico. Also, she was a substitute for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallas' affiliate, where she has more responsibility. She reported on the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys and NBA Postseason, as well as the finals of FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. She also hosted on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. The show was made a sports anchor for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. They moved at some point towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She has a sister. She is the older sister. The couple divorced shortly after in 1995. Her mother was remarried to one of the naval architects called Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. The couple stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer in which she was offered the opportunity of a job. As a senior at high school, but having a clear vision of about what she wanted to pursue for her life, Antonietta visited at the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her needs. She loved the campus. It also gave her the degree she wanted. When she finished high school, she made the decision to go to the university and major in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in her class, formed an ongoing friendship with the student. Her professor urged her to believe in herself and was deeply touched by his enthusiasm for journalism.
